Whether you’re staying at home or heading to your favorite spot, you can get together with friends and family and make a difference. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Prepare to party.
Choose what type of event you’d like to host. (We have some awesome examples below!) Pick a location, day, and time. After deciding what kind of event you want to host, set a fundraising goal for you and your friends - the more you donate, the more of an impact you can make for people with disabilities! Let us know what you’re planning and we can help with the next steps!
2. Spread the word.
Send out invites! Let friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or whoever know that they’re invited to an amazing event to help you do some good. Whether it’s an E-vite or something more formal, let them know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. Sharing why you are passionate about Easterseals’ mission will inspire your friends and family to help you do good.
3. Plan & Party!
Gather the goods - food, drinks, decorations, party favors! Gather your supplies, confirm your guests, and party! On the day of the event, be sure to thank your guests for coming and let them know that all the funds raised will go toward helping support more than 5,000 people across Missouri who are impacted by disabilities. We can help provide you with information, signs, and event extra donation forms. Most importantly - have fun!
After the event.
After your party is done, don’t forget to thank your guests not only for attending, but for helping you make a difference. Once, all donations are collected, you can send them to us or drop them off at:

If you are not in the St. Louis area - don’t worry. Contact us and we can work with you on how best to deliver or mail your donation.
When you drop off or mail in your gifts, please include your name and a list of all enclosed gifts with each donor’s name, gift amount, and whether they used cash or check. This helps us accurately record all donations.

Invite your friends, family, and neighbors to an event out in the community. It could be your favorite bowling alley, a nearby park, or that new downtown yoga studio you’ve been meaning to try out.

Pick your favorite bowling alley, grab some bowling shoes, and invite some friends! Who doesn’t love a bit of competition when doing good?
Neighborhood Fun Run
Gather your friends and neighbors and set up an early morning run to raise money for Easterseals. Charge a small registration fee and encourage runners to land local sponsors!

Get outside
Whether it’s a pool party, a bonfire, outdoor movie night - invite some friends over and enjoy the great outdoors! Transform your very own backyard into the place to be.
Dinner and Drinks
What’s more classic than a dinner party? Try out that new recipe and host your friends - whether it’s an elegant affair or a backyard BBQ. Pick some of our favorite wines or try out a new cocktail recipe.
Trivia Night
Who’s the smartest person you know? Gather friends and family and put their knowledge to the test. Set up teams, hand out small trophies for bragging rights, and don’t forget the music!
Get the kids involved!
Looking for a way to fill your kids’ time with fun? Teach them the value of giving back while having a blast! They’re fundraising can give kids with disabilities the opportunity to play, learn, and live their best possible lives!
Just for the Kids
Bike Wash
Grab the hose and a sponge and set up the driveway - offer to wash neighbor kids’ bikes for a small service fee. Cool off, help a neighbor, and do some good!
Lemonade Stand
Is there anything more classic than a lemonade stand? Set up your stand and let people know the proceeds will go toward helping people with disabilities.
Gaming Tournament
Get the controllers, order a pizza, and see who’s got the best skills! Set up tournaments, teams, or keep it 1-v-1. Video games and pizza are always a winning combination.
