Sharon dedicated her birthday to Easterseals and raised $1,250.
Here’s what she wrote to her friends and family:
“For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to Easterseals Midwest. I've chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you'll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I've included information about Easterseals Midwest below:
Easterseals’ mission is to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. “
Laura wanted to raise money for Easterseals during the pandemic.
Here’s what she said to friends and family:
“Disability providers like Easterseals Midwest continue to receive no relief funds from our government. As it stands, we will have spent 3 million dollars protecting our staff and individuals we support - none of which has yet to be included in any government aid. If you are able, I ask for your help - my goal is to raise $200 - this will provide PPE for one home for one week. Will you consider making a gift? Any amount matters... truly.”
Karen raised funds for Giving Tuesday - her friends donated $580!
Here’s what she said to friends and family:
“Want to join me in supporting a good cause? This #GivingTuesday I'm raising money for Easterseals Midwest and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. And on #GivingTuesday - Dec 3 - Facebook will match a total of $7 million in donations first come, first serve. Thank you for your support!”
“I was blown away by the generosity of my friends and family. It’s amazing the impact you can make in just a week.” - Laura
